In this episode, I interview my friend Ryann all about pregnancy nutrition and other factors that relate such as cravings, morning sickness, prenatal vitamins, and more!

Here are the questions we go over!

-When should we start thinking about dietary needs in regards to pregnancy? Before…or once you find out?
-What are some of the most important nutrients needed during pregnancy?
-What about morning sickness, how do I get nutrients? If I’m sick all the time, is my baby being depleted?
-Talk to us about prenatal vitamins, how do I look for a good quality one? Aren’t they all the same?
-I have some intense cravings, should I just listen to my body or should I restrict my crazy cravings?
-DAIRY! I am normally lactose intolerant but for some reason I’m not now that I’m pregnant, what is up with that?
-Let’s talk about anemia and iron needs-adding iron through foods and/or taking supplements, when it’s needed.
-Kombucha, what is the deal…is it safe?
-Do you have experience with counseling women who have Gestational Diabetes? What are some things you tell them in regards to diet?
-Weight gain….what if I’m “gaining too much weight” what do I do?
